Split bolt connectors are referred to in BS3288 and all our HD range has been type tested to BS3288: Part 1: 1973. The tests reveal that the connectors have been successfully type tested and heat cycled over many operations and the range of loads specified by BSS show that at the conclusion of such tests there has been no significant increase in the resistance of the joint.
