PVA fiber is short for polyvinyl alcohol fiber. With polyvinyl alcohol as its raw material, PVA fiber is a high strength and modulus fiber produced by a special process. It has advantage of high strength, high modulus, low elongation, good dispersing, acid and alkali resistance, wear-resistance, UV resistance and corrosion resistance. It also has good combination with cement, thus it can be used as all types of reinforcing materials. Now it is widely used in many construction field, such as dam of water project and hydraulic power, basement, harbour engineering, concrete slab and so on.

Function of Polyvinyl Alcohol Fiber:

1. Improve reinforcement of concrete.

2. Improve toughness and impact resistance.

3. Acid and alkali resistance, suitable for all cements.

4. Good dispersing.

5. Improve operating conditions.

Use instruction:

1. Mixing amount: Only one-fifth of asbestos.

2. Stirring requirement: It is no need to change the proportion of cement, sand and aggregate.

For cement concrete: crushed stones, fibers, cement and sand are put into the blender and stir for 30 seconds, then put water and stir for 1 minute.

For  asphalt concrete: Put crushed stones, sand and fibers into the blender and stir for 20 seconds. Then put the asphalt and stir up. The total time of stirring is not less than 60 seconds.

1. Thermal power projects, hydropower project.

2. Concrete precast, superstructure and substructure of bridge.

3. Harbour projects, such as wave wall, dike dam and slope engineering.

4. Water projects, such as dam slab, slope, floodway.

5. Water treatment system, such as concentrated pool, wastewater pool.

6.Shotcrete projects, such as inner wall of tunnel, mine.
