Connect the power line that comes with recording equipment, power supply, front panel power indicator is lit red to indicate power on. About 60 seconds or so (if you are recording the power-down, It may need longer to start point, need to restore the file system information, please be patient), the former board 8-channel LED light will last the whole 3 seconds, and then will follow the line status indicator shows that the system has been launched, and can be start recording and network login.
After the system starts, please check recorder device led state.

The system factory default IP address is 192.168.0.190, if your LAN segment where the recording boxes in different network segment, you can use the supplied network cable to recording equipment and a computer directly connected or connected in the LAN, then can see the network light is on, that network has been through, but need to give your computer to add a 0 segment of the IP address (192.168.0 .*, * on behalf of any number 1-254), after the setting IP address success, your browser can login the system.In the "System Management" -> "set IP address" and set the same with your LAN tetwork segment. This can be connected to the recording device on your LAN and any computer of the LAN can login directly to the recording equipment.
You add the same network segment with recording equipment according to the next ways.
First, open the "Start", right click "My Network Places" as shown below.

In the figure, double click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", open the following figure. In IE or Firefox and other browsers address bar: 192.168.0.190, press the Enter key to open the following Landing page, the default user name is admin, password is admin, point to determine, they can enter the system. In the "System Management" -> "set IP address" and reset the same with your LAN Network segment. This can be connected to the recording device on your LAN, the LAN from any computer within the network can login directly to the recording equipment.
in the browser address bar enter the IP address of record box,for example, input "http://192.168.0.190" in address bar, then enter the user name and password to login the recording box system server, as shown below:
In the browser's address bar enter the IP address of recording equipment to show how the login information shown below. Can see the phone status, If connected line with phone, can display phone numbers and talk time.
In the upper right corner of web browser, shows the current phone status, different colors indicate different states.
If you forget your password, you can press the reset button after the panel restore factory settings, restore factory settings will be reset IP address, user, password, line voltage threshold and recording parameters But does not affect the recorded information.
The recording equipment with Ethernet network management function, through this feature, simply open a web browser on your computer, you can easily manage the website of the system. To do the following:
system management is divided into eight parts,system information,IP address setting,Popup, Real-time monitor, system time setting,download software,restore the factory,online upgrades and help.
(1) System Information
After user login the system, in systems management, click on the "System Information", as shown below, you can see some of the basic device information and device startup time.
(2) IP address setting
In systems management, click "IP address setting", open the following page, you can set the new ip address, the next visitting must input the new IP address address bar of web browser.
(3) Popup setting
In systems management, click "Popup", open the following page. Generally do not modify the configuration inside. If you modify the multicast address and port, popup client software to do the appropriate changes. Modifications need to reboot the system.
(4) Real-time monitor
In systems management, click "Real-time monitor", open the following page. Please do not modify the general configuration of which, if you modify the network port, monitoring the client's network also needs to be modified accordingly. The modified system needs to reboot.
(5) System time setting
In systems management, click on "System time setting", open the following pages, there are two ways Set the system time, synchronize the machine time and manually set the time.
(6) Download software
In systems management, click "Download software" to open the following page, you can download the G729 audio codec and install the decoder, can be used Media player or other player to play audio files compressed by G729.
Speech coding (refer to recording settings -> recording parameter settings) to select the G729, must be installed decoder, or can not play the audio file format. Once downloaded, run the g729_setup.exe to install G729 audio codec , then exit the browser and reopen the browser, play audio files. And will prompt you to enter a user name and password, only authorized users can play audio files.
(7) Restore factory
After users log in systems management,click on the "Restore factory", open the following page. Click "confirm restore" and restore the default IP address, user name, password, extension number, recording parameters and the line voltage threshold, but does not affect recordings. Can also press the hardware reset button (about 5 seconds), but also to restore the factory default values.
(8) Online upgrade
After users log in systems management,click on "online upgrade" to open the following page. Click "Browse", enter the upgrade file, then click "Submit" will upload the upgrade file, upload the file successfully, you need to restart to take effect. If you change the page Demonstrated the need to delete the browser history, restart your browser and log back on to the server can view Web pages.
(9) log
After user login, the system management, click on "log", In the log file, record user login time, parameter settings, add users and delete recordings and other information.
(5) Alarm log
After user login, the system management, click on the "Alarm log", will open the alarm page. some of abnormal status, such as the device is reset, pull out and insert the telephone line, disconnected from the network and connectivity, will be recorded as a warning.
This part can be divided "Qury by time", "Query by channel"and "Advanced query".
(1) Query by time
In the Query menu, click on the "Query by time", open the following pages, you can choose single day and multi day to query, also you can select date.
When choose multi day, select date, then click "Query", records can be summarized, click on "details" can open a new page, showing details of recordings, in which recordings can play, download and delete operation.
(2) Query by channel
In the recording management, click on the "Query by channel", open the following page, click on "details" can open a new page to display detailed recordings.
(3) Advanced query
In the recording management, click on the "Advanced query" and open the following page, select a different query condition,click "query" can open a new page to display detailed recordings.
the following diagram to illustrate how to operate recordings. Click download and online play icon to download and play recordings. if the compression format is G729, must install G729 audio codec to play audio files, install the decoder see System Management -> Download software . Each page shows the 20 recordings, click the page number or enter the page number, the current page information will display that page. Click the header of table, the recordings can be sort. Click anywhere on record become red, indicating that the record has been marked, you can mark multiple records, then click "sort mark", the records sort to first of page. Click "clear mark", the red will be clear.
Click "Play and Save" can open the following page, if you need to save the file to local disk, if you click the download link directly, will open the player to play audio files, Because the file as wav to determine the link will automatically open the player. So right click on the link in the pop-up menu, select "Save As", you can save the voice files to local disk.
(1) Extension number setting
In the recording settings, click "Ext number setting", open the following pages, according to the actual application set the physical channel corresponding to the extension number, near the network interface of the channel is channel 1,the next channel is channel 2 and so on. The aim of this setting is to facilitate the statistics and query the recordings.
(2) Record parameters setting
In the recording settings, click "Record param setting", open the following pages, according to the application environment to modify the configuration parameters.
Min record time length: record time of Outgoing type phone less than the time of the recordings and file will be automatically deleted, and its purpose is to remove the invalid recordings.
Maximum recording time: more than the time of call recording data is not written to disk, the default will not exceed the maximum talk time of 4 hours.
Outgoing number identify delay time: its purpose is to collect outgoing telephone numbers.If not identify in outgoing, all press of key are telephone numbers.
Incoming number prefix and Outgoing number prefix: If in an internal switch, outgoing and incoming phone numbers with a number, if you set the parameters, it will automatically remove the prefix.
Voice coding have G729 coding, so must install decoder to play the audio file format, install the decoder reference here .
Disk full strategy:If set recycle record way,when disk will be full,system will be delete the oldest recods.If set stop record way,when disk be full, system stop record. I do not know the response mode memory space is divided into two cycles recording and stop recording. Cycle approach is that when recording system disk space that will automatically delete the oldest recordings.
Start record when: you can select from ring and hook off to record when phone incoming.
CID type is divided into three ways, automatic, FSk and dtmf, automatic mode including the two other ways. If you set FSk type, the DTMF type Caller ID will not display in the record. If you set FSk type, the DTMF type Caller ID will not display in the record.
(1) Change password
The default administrator name is admin, no password. click the "Change password" to open the following pages, you can set a new password for the admin.
(2) User accounts
In the User Management, click on "User accounts", open the following pages, you can see the authority for each user, you can modify the authority, change passwords, delete user and add a new user.
(3)Create account
In the User Management, click on "create account" to open the following pages, you can add new users and can choose authority.
(1) Channel status
In the status, click on "Channel status", can display the current call status, phone number and recording time. Click on the corresponding channel to "Monitor", you can listen to real-time call voice. The web pages up to 4 simultaneous online monitoring.
(2)Voltage measure
In the status, click on "Voltage measure", real-time measurement of line voltage. If the phone status is not right, need to set the voltage threshold. Hook off voltage threshold is equal to hang with hook voltage divided by 2. All channels with the same threshold to determine a telephone hook off state, select a channel ot measure the channel hook off voltage and hang up voltage, then sum of the voltage divided by 2.
For example, channel 1 hook off voltage is 8V, hang up voltage is 49V, (8 +49)/2 = 28.5V, hook off threshold is 28V, click "setup threshold", the hook off threshold voltage of the corresponding parameter value enter 28, then Click "Setup" to set the threshold.
This system is detected through the voltage-controlled mode phone status. Typically, the phone line is on-hook, the DC voltage of 48V or so, hook off line DC voltage drops to 6V or so. The default hook threshold is 18V, when the telephone line DC voltage is greater than 18V, the software to determine the hang up state; less than 18V the line state is hook off state. Because the environment is different, the line DC voltage may be different, hook off line voltage may be greater than the threshold voltage, hang up line voltage is less than hook off threshold, so the software will not detect hook off state when the phone hook off, requiring the user to reset the hook off threshold. If no telephone line connection the channel, line voltage is 0V, line status display hang. Line voltage be below the hang voltage threshold, the channel status is hang, the system default hang voltage threshold is 3V.
