Usage

LYD8-P-20Y is a kind of SPD which used in the electronic circuit and was installed in PCB circuit board of electronic equipment, and it protected electronic circuits.      Now it widely was used and installed in SPC telephone exchange and consumer panels, and related PCB electronic circuits.

Main structures

LYD8-P-20Y series electronic circuit surge protector has some characteristics of small volume and large discharge currents (Imax: 20kA 8/20µs), and low residual voltage. It is composed of a pressure limiting device and alarm mechanism,when the SPD was breakdown and failure because of overheating, the built-inalarm mechanism was tripping out and sent remote signals. It can fully send the remote signals at the conditions of large discharge currents and narrow installation area, and now it has been fully replaced the ordinary varistor and related alarm circuits.
