The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System is composed of three main parts: a single 3300 XL 8 mm probe, one 3300 XL extension cable, and one 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. It generates an output voltage that changes in direct proportion to the gap between the probe tip and the target conductive surface, enabling it to sense both static position and dynamic vibration. Its principal uses are vibration and position monitoring on fluid-film bearing machinery, plus Keyphasor reference and speed measurement.
