3P+N Limp Surge Protective Device (SPD)

LYD1-I30 Lightning surge protection device is suitable for 50/60Hz, 380V and below TT, TN and power supply system, to prevent lightning or other transient overvoltage, worked in the place where there has high lightning rate and need 1 class (B grade) requirement. It is installed between LPZ0Band LPZ1, all technical index complies with IEC61643-1 standards.

Product structure and performances

1. This products is one side indoor fixed voltage switch type SPD, it complies with IEC61643-1 standards. With such advantages of large impulse current(Limp: 30kA), low residual (Up 2.5kV) and etc. The core element comprised of multistage plumbago gaps, based on good design, precise processing, the combination of spark gap is sealed tightly, to ensure safe distance inside spark gap, even if surging current pass through, electric arc won’t happen to leakage. During installation, extra space not needed for arcing outside. Reliable quality.
2. The product installed on LPZ0A or between LPZ0B and LPZ1, or in the general distribution cabinet where the power supply enter, it adopt 35mm standard rail for mounting, connected with 6 to 35mm² soft multi-standard cable.
3. Grounding wire shall be more than 16mm² dual color cable, length not exceed 500mm.
4. In order to prevent influence on network after the SPD is invalid, the protector connected with L line shall connected in series with a fuse or circuit breaker.

The shell size of lightning surge protection device LYD1-I30 meet with module size of 36mm, consequently it can be easily mounted on 35 rail.
