Product Introduction

LYD7 type surge protection device for low voltage distribution systems adoped module design, suitable for working in TT, TN-C, TN-C-S, or IT distribution modes to provide the protection against lighting or transient over-voltage.

Main structure and working theory

SPD is constructed of single poles, also it can combine into two poles, three poles or four poles. SPD has built-in release, when SPD happen to over-heating, breakdown, the release can be disconnected from network automatically, mean while it will send the indication signal. At normal working status the display window is green, when it is invalid and disconnected, it will disply in red.

Installation and operation

LYD7-D20 provides D class protection for Ⅲ calss lighting proof requirements, installed in LPZ1 zone or between LPZ2 and LPZ3 zone, adop 35mm standard rail for mounting, use 2.5 to 16 mm ²  multi-standed cooper cable to connect. LYD7-C40 provides C calss protection for  Ⅲ calss lightning proof requirements, installed in LPZ0B zone or between LPZ1 and LPZ2 zone, adop 35mm standard rail for mounting , use 2.5 - 16 mm ²  multi-standed cooper cable to connect. LYD7-B60 provides C or B calss protection for  Ⅲ calss lightning proof requirements, installed in LPZ0B zone or between LPZ1 and LPZ2 zone, adop 35mm standard rail for mounting , use 2.5 -  16 mm ²  multi-standed cooper cable to connect.
