Metro Rail & Subway Train Video Security Monitoring and Broadband Internet Access System

For the Railway/Subway encountered in video and broadband deployment, "insurmountable" problem, only after years research many experiments, with the leading broadband access technology, ground-breaking copper is proposed based on parallel high-speed long-distance Packet Access technology (High Speed Long Reach Packet Access, HSLRPA). Based on HSRPA, Versa Technology finally developed its own VX-168 chipsets to resolve this rail/subway "insurmountable" problem.
HSLRPA technology is a widely used in special coding techniques, with strong anti-jamming and anti-attenuation capacity of up to 1000 meters parallel or twisted copper line. It can be said for 100/100Mbps with single transmission card and can be expanded up to 400/400Mbps bi-directional with multiple cards in trunk mode data transmission as well as un-interrupted redundant function, thus a fundamental solution to high-speed video data stream and IP data transmitted among the train coaches/compartments.
Currently, the Versa Technology’s HSLRPA solution is the only qualified and approved technology by China Academy of Railway Sciences on rail/subway video security monitoring system and broadband system in China. The system uses the 1~4 pairs (2 up 8 wires) of core power train 39 existing cable wires to provide maximum stability and a total of 36 road cars 18 MPEG-4 format video signal data transmission and monitoring plus Internet data transfers. This system with good reliability and stability, thus achieves the train continuous video surveillance and video broadcast capabilities as well as the internet application network on running trains.
System can be completely loaded as a new train entertainment, video, commercials, television movies and IP data transmission platform. Through the implementation of the system, the majority of visitors can not only learn the latest in cars entertainment, enjoy the video just released movie, and even support video on demand feature that allows travelers easy-on-demand and other major highlights of sporting events; the same time commercial advertisements can also be accompanied by those entertainment shows to the passengers, so that business travelers can take the lead in the commercial business on the train.
In addition, the system also has a very strong scalability. According to actual needs compatible with other types of industrial standard interfaces, the system is providing a variety of business needs in line through the data transmission channel. Such as train control data, smoke sensors, automatic door lock controls and other devices may rely on the available data transmission platforms, and thus smooth realization of the railway and subway train traffic environment for safety inspection with the key parameters.

VX-168E is a 2 Megapixel high resolution Anole-eye panoramic network camera featured with superior H.264-AVC performance and rich functions equipped with an Anole-eye lens for 360° panoramic view without blind spot. The panoramic coverage ability enables customer to cost-effectively install less cameras and spend less maintenance time and efforts.
The hardware base processing ability provides user up to 9 video layouts for ceiling mount, wall mount and table view applications. The e-PTZ functions without moving parts, which can perform as a mechanical PTZ camera without Pan/Tilt maintenance or wear and tear cost. Further functions include PoE, two-way audio, DI/DO, micro SD card for local storage. Thus, VX-168E can be used in all new scenarios
