Installation Note

1. Prior to installation should check the valve specifications, pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance and meet the requirements. Should check the valve's part is damaged or loose.

2. This kind of  valve can be installed in any angle of pipe, and should be closed to install appropriate: welding pipe flanges should be blocking the valve seals, the plate to prevent particles and debris contusion close remove the valve cover, after welding, cleaning the valve sealing surface and pipe cavity, and then install the fixed valve.

Failures that Can Occur and Methods to Eliminate

Failure Phenomenon

Sealing Surface Leakage

Reason:         

1. Ring folder with debris.

2. Valve's sealed closed position consistent errors.

3. Export equipped with flange bolts are uneven force or compression.

4. The pressure test of the valve is incorrect.

Elimination: 

1. Elimination of impurities, cleaning the  valve cavity.

2. Adjust the worm gear or  electric actuator, such as implementing agencies limit screw is reached the pressure reducing valve closed position is correct.

3. Check mating flange plane and bolt champing force should be evenly pressed.

4. Put pressure on the direction of the arrow.

Valve at Both Ends of the Surface Leak

Reason:      

1. On both sides of gasket failure. 

2. Uneven cargo pipe flange clamping force is not pressed.

Elimination:   

1. Replace the gasket.

2. The compression flange bolts (evenly).

Method of Operation

1. Manual valves: handle out of the pipe into a parallel position, the valve in the open position,     90 centigrade angle, the valve in the closed position. Clockwise rotation of the handle is off the valves, and counterclockwise rotation of the handle to open the valve.

2. The valve of the worm gear: according to the part of the valve is installed indicating device identification, clockwise rotation of the handwheel off valve counterclockwise rotation of the handwheel to open the pressure reducing valve.

3. Pneumatic, electric, electro-hydraulic  valve linkage operation, in accordance with the drive manual.
