The Appplication  of Rotary Drum Dryer:
Rotary Drum dryer is mainly used for drying materials with some moisture and granularity in ore beneficiation, building material, metallurgy and chemical department. Drum dryer has high adaptability to the materials so that it can be used for drying all kinds of materials, and in addition, the operation of this equipment is simple and reliable, for this reason, it gets wide application.

The Inner Structure and Function of Drum Dryer:

This machine is mainly composed of rotary part, lifting board, transmission part, supporting part and seal ring. The drum dryer produced by our company uses reasonable running parameters, and the coal and electricity consumption is reduced by over 10-15% and the output per machine is improved by over 10-15%, so that it has been widely used in the cement plants and ore beneficiation plants.

Rotary Drum Dryer Workiing Principle:

The heat source of the drum dryer comes from the combustion device and this dryer uses co-current heating method, so that when the materials to be dried go into the cylinder from the feeding box or feeding chute, they are pushed back by the spiral lifting board. Since the drum dryer is obliquely installed, the materials flow to the lower end of the machine under the gravity and the rotation of the machine, and on the other hand, the materials are repeatedly lifted by the lifting board to the higher end and then spread down constantly, so that the materials will form a even curtain inside the cylinder and conduct heat exchange with the hot air inside the cylinder. Since the materials constantly spread and the water contained in them will be dried, thus achieving the aim of drying.

Main features:

1.Strong resistance to overload, large capacity, less fuel consumption, and low drying cost.
2.Adopts downstream drying method, flue gas and wet material into the drying machine from the same side;adopt high temperature flue gas to obtain high evaporation strength, the outlet temperature of the dryer is low and high thermal efficiency is good.

3.It can change operation parameters according to the different material properties, make the material in the dryer cylinder body form stable whole broken fabric curtain and improve the heat exchange more sufficiently;

4.With new-type feeding and discharging device, it can prevent from drum dryer feeding jams, discontinuous and uneven return phenomenon, reduces the loading of dust removal system.

5.Special internal structure design, which not only can strengthen the effect on scattered material cleaning and heat conduction but also eliminate the materials sticky phenomenon, making material moisture and stickness more flexible;

6. Drying machine achieved the "zero thrust", greatly reducing abrasion between the tug wheel and catch wheel, make cylinder run smoothly and steadily ;

7.Drying machine adopts "self-aligning roller device", make the wheel and roll ring with a forever linear contact, thus greatly reduces the abrasion and power loss;
8.The product size and moisture could be controlled according to user requirement. The moisture could be lower than 8% while drying the coal slime, the size could be controlled smaller than 8mm.
