Hastelloy X

Hastelloy X is a nickel base superalloy, strengthened by chromium and molybdenu, with good oxidation and corrosion resistance. It has moderate persistent and creep strength, and good cold and thermal formability and weldability at the temperature up to 900 ℃(1652℉). Hastelloy X is widely used in manufacture of aircraft engine, combustion chamber components and other high temperature components. It has long-term useful strength at temperature up to 900 ℃(1652℉) and short-term useful strength at temperature up to 1080℃ (1976℉).
