Disc dryer Introduction:

        PGJ disc dryer works by both shell and internal discs, thus increasing drying area with high thermal efficiency for full drying of materials. Drier comprises one horizontal shell and one rotor with steam heating; the shaft is installed with heating discs on which angle-adjustable scraper is assembled. In operation, materials can be both heated and sent off by the end direction; vapor-distributor inside the rotating shaft enable vapor uniform on every heating discs, and vapor flow inside the plate on sides of the disc, thus keeping a stable temperature for the heating disc. Condensate water is extracted by rotating joint on the shaft end.

        Materials are fully stirred and mixed via scraper and discs by means of rotating shaft, thus increasing area of heat exchange. Exhaust gas are emitted through the top of shell, leaving weak vacuum inside the tube so that vapor are kept and no more cool air. PGJ disc-type dryer widely used for powder drying as fish meal, bone meal, dyestuff, pigment, sludge, chemical engineering and pesticide.
