When emptying a bag, sack or drum of fine, aerated or volatile powders, dust problem is a big headache. Now this problem can be solved with ZJY ZBD series ManualBag Dump Station. Our smart ZBD series Manual Bag Dump Stationis designed to collect dust generated when opening and dumping bags containing powder and bulk solids. This ensures a healthy environment in the process area, reduces powder waste, and eliminates maintenance and repair problems caused by powder contamination to surrounding machinery.

HOW IT WORKS:

The basic ZBD series Manual Bag Dump Station consists of a cabinet with its front part open, and a dust extraction system by a vacuum fan and filter bags. The cabinet of the ZBD series Manual Bag Dump Station has its bottom connected to a hopper, and the hopper outlet can be connected to the inlet of a conveyor. The extraction system is connected to either a separate dust collector or existing extraction plant.

When emptying the container (bag, sack or drum), it is first placed on the grid support and is manually slit. The powder materials will fall into the hopper, while the dust is drawn away by the vacuum fan, going through cartridge filters to the dust collector. An optional reverse-pulse filter cleaning system is offered to utilize blasts of compressed air into the cartridge filters to agitate the dust film built up on their outer surface to fall down into the hopper at timed intervals.

SPECIAL DESIGN WITH “GLOVE CHAMBER”:

ZJY is able to offer completely enclosed Glove Chamber to protect your workers away from any contact of the dust. The ultimate protection is ensured with gloved access installed in the plexiglass window. A bag feeding station can be installed next to this Glove Chamber to improve the productivity with two workers for continuous operation.

To improve the efficiency of disposal of the bags, ZJY designs the compact ZBC series Bag Compactor which is just attached to the Manual Bag Dump Station with an access port between them. Empty bags can be passed easily into the compactor and collected from outside of the Manual Bag Dump Station.
