Vacuum Loader

INTRODUCTION:

ZJY ZVC series Vacuum Loader is a cost-effective way to transfer solid materials, including powder, granules, crystals and other light & free-flowing solids. The Vacuum Loader consists of: vacuum source (pump, blower or vacuum generator), which is also the driving unit of the system to move the materials, a hopper usually with filtering device to receive the materials without generating dust, and a pick-up unit to suck the solid materials from different powder containers. ZVC series Vacuum Loader is very popular in the industries of pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetics due to its outstanding features of completely closed system, easy maintenance, and hygienic design (often built completely in stainless steel). The Vacuum Loaderis especially helpful when the powder materials are dusty, poisonous to the workers, stinking or smelly, erosive.

HOW IT WORKS?

Vacuum Conveying consists of two cycles: the loading cycle and the discharge cycle.

#1. Loading Cycle

In this cycle, the air in the powder hopper is drawn through filter area by a vacuum pump located outside; meanwhile, the material is sucked into the hopper by using a hand held wand. The filters also stop the dust generated by the powder materials. The discharge-valve remains closed during the loading phase.

#2. Discharge Cycle

Once the hopper is full (controlled by a level sensor or a timer), vacuum is relieved and the discharge valve at the base opens. Material then falls by gravity to the receiving container situated below. During the unloading of material, a reverse jet compressed air blasts and cleans the filter in the lid of the hopper. At the end of the discharge cycle, the system automatically resets to continue on with the next convey cycle.

MATERIAL FEEDING:

1. Feeding bin with feeding adaptor

To pick up materials from process or storage and transfer them to another process or storage

2. Bag dump station & Automatic bag opening machine

3. Hand-held wand

To draw materials from bags, drums, bins, piles and processing equipment

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATIONS:

ZJY offers flexible installation for ZVC series Vacuum Loader; they can be either wall-mounted or installed onto a mobile stand for easy moving. ZJY offers our Vacuum Conveyors with adjustable lifting stand to be operated manually, electrically or hydraulically. Ex-proof version for both machine and electric control is available as per customer’s demand for flammable conditions.
