JN BA-3441 Alkali Thickeners

v  Features

JN BA-3441 is a kind of acidity contained cross-linking macromolecule emulsion thickener. Diluted by water and neutralized by alkali, the latex particles expand and the emulsion become clear and viscous.

JN BA-3441 can improve the LSRV efficiently and make the coating system highly pseudoplastic. JN BA-3441 as the main thickener for paint has high yield value and gel structure after the shear force disappear. Thus JN BA-3441 applies to the three-dimensional pattern and texture paint with low LSRV required.

Compared with macromolecule cellulose thickener, JN BA-3441 can decrease the roller painting splashing rate. Because of no cellulose and excellent anti-microbic and anti-enzyme invasiveness, the viscosity of paint has long term stability.

The product should be stored in a sealed container. Avoid freezing and high temperature. It should be used up within six months. Suggested normal storage temperature should be between 10 - 35 °C

v  Usage

1.Add Ammonia water to make the pH of emulsion from 8.0-9.0.

2.Dilute the JN BA-3441 with water at the ration 1:1.

3.Add JN BA-3441 when stirring at low speed state.

4.Measure the change of the viscosity when stirring; stop adding the thickener when reach the viscosity required.

25 kg, 200 kg,1000kg plastic drum, or according to customer’s requirements.
