• Multi-Channel Independent Control: 8 relays can correspond to different alarm logics (such as high vibration alarm, overspeed, abnormal temperature, etc.) respectively, working independently to avoid mutual interference.

• Flexible Trigger Logic: The trigger conditions of each relay can be customized through 3500 configuration software, supporting "AND/OR" logic combinations (such as triggering shutdown when "vibration danger + overspeed" are met simultaneously), adapting to the protection needs of complex industrial scenarios.

• Status Feedback Function: The real-time action status (energized/released) of the relay can be fed back to the 3500 Rack Interface Module (RIM) through the system bus, facilitating the upper computer to monitor whether the relay responds normally.

• Redundancy Support: Configurable dual-module redundancy mode. When the main module fails, it automatically switches to the standby module to ensure uninterrupted relay output function and improve system reliability.

• Manual Forced Operation: Supports manual forced energization/release of relays through software or module hardware buttons, facilitating on-site debugging and fault   (troubleshooting).

• Installation Position: As a half-height module of the 3500 system, it can be installed in slots 3-14 of the full-size rack or slots 3-7 of the mini rack, and needs to be used with the 3500/20 RIM module for configuration.

• Wiring Method:

• Relay contacts are connected to external loads (such as alarm lights, contactor coils) through the rear terminal block. Each set of contacts must be configured with a corresponding power supply according to the load type (AC/DC);

• The common terminal (COM) must be connected according to the wiring logic to ensure the circuit is complete;

• It is recommended to use shielded cables for connection, with the shield layer grounded at a single point to reduce electromagnetic interference.

• Installation Notes: Power off the rack before wiring to ensure terminals are tight; the relay load current must not exceed the rated capacity. If necessary, expand the capacity through an intermediate relay to avoid contact burnout.

• PWR (Power) LED: Steady green indicates normal power supply.

• COMM (Communication) LED: Blinking green indicates normal communication with the 3500 system; off indicates communication interruption.

• RELAY 1-8 (Relay Status) LEDs: Each relay has a corresponding red LED. Steady on indicates the relay is energized (normally open contacts closed); off indicates the relay is released (normally closed contacts closed).

• FAULT LED: Steady red indicates an internal module fault (such as relay sticking, hardware abnormality); blinking yellow indicates a trigger logic error or abnormal load.
