Functional characteristics:

Remote I/O control: Capable of controlling up to 30 bus devices, it allows connection to the existing Genius I/O bus, enabling the I/O controller function for the host controller. Remote I/O devices can be controlled, monitored and managed through the Genius I/O network.

Status indication: It is equipped with two status indication leds, namely GENI OK LED and COMMS OK LED, which are used to display the operation and communication status of the equipment, facilitating the operator to intuitively understand the working condition of the module.

Data processing and exchange: Maintain the latest data images of controlled devices and be capable of exchanging data with other controllers on the same network by sending and receiving background messages that are independent of I/O commands or global data. Meanwhile, the module is equipped with a 6303 microprocessor, which can provide message writing functionality and a large memory capacity.

Communication parameters: Supports multiple configurable data rates including 38.4K, 76.8K, 153.6K standards or 153.6K extensions. If two sub-boards are connected to a dual-slot PCIM and each sub-board is connected to a separate Genius I/O bus, or if both sub-boards are connected to the same bus, each sub-board must be set to the same baud rate.
