Working principle
Vibration signal acquisition: This module can be connected to a vibration sensor. The sensor converts the mechanical vibration generated during the operation of the gas turbine turbine into electrical signals, such as standard analog signals like 0-5V, 0-10V, and 4-20mA. The module is equipped with multiple signal input channels and can simultaneously receive signals from multiple sensors to monitor the vibration states of different parts of the gas turbine.
Signal processing and Analysis: The module integrates a signal conditioning circuit internally, which can amplify, filter and perform other processing on the input vibration signal, remove noise interference and improve signal quality. Meanwhile, its built-in microprocessor (such as Intel Ultra Low Voltage Celeron 650 MHz) and related algorithms are utilized to analyze the processed signal. By analyzing the characteristic parameters such as frequency, amplitude and phase of the vibration signal, it is determined whether there is abnormal vibration in the gas turbine, such as imbalance, misalignment and bearing failure.
Data storage and transmission: The module is equipped with 128MB compact flash memory, which can store critical system data and programs, and also temporarily store collected and processed vibration data. Meanwhile, it can transmit the processed data to other devices of the control system or the upper computer through communication interfaces such as the Ethernet port and COM port on the panel, so that the operators can monitor the operating status of the gas turbine in real time, or use it for further data analysis and fault diagnosis.
System communication and redundancy function: The IS415UCVHH1A can operate as a node on the reflective memory network. When used for this function, it provides deterministic data sharing between PLCS and other computing devices on high-speed optical fiber networks. Nodes in the reflective memory network are connected in a loop through optical fiber cables. When data is written to one node, other nodes will update automatically to achieve rapid data synchronization. In a CPU redundant system, it provides a path for data transmission between two redundant cpus to ensure that the system can still operate reliably when some components fail.
Control instruction output: The module can receive instructions from the control system, convert these instructions into corresponding output signals according to preset rules and algorithms, and transmit them through the output channel to actuators such as control valves and brakes, thereby regulating the operating state of the gas turbine to ensure its stable operation.
Performance Introduction
Input and output signals: The input signals support 0 ~ 5V, 1 ~ 5V, 0 ~ 10mA, 0 ~ 20mA, 4 ~ 20mA, 0 ~ 10V, -10V ~ +10V and other user-specific specifications. The output signal supports 0 ~ 5V, 1 ~ 5V, 0 ~ 10V, -10V ~ +10V, 0 ~ 10mA, 0 ~ 20mA, 4 ~ 20mA and other user-specific specifications.
Power supply specifications: Supports DC 24V, 15V, 12V, ±12V, AC 220V or other user-specific specifications.
Communication interface: The panel is equipped with 2 USB ports, 2 Ethernet ports, 2 COM ports (with corresponding leds), 1 mouse/keyboard connector and 1 VGA display port.
Functional features: It can monitor and control the vibration signals in the gas turbine system, adopts advanced vibration monitoring technology, and can transmit the monitoring results in real time. Supports simplex, dual-redundancy and triple-redundancy systems, and can be programmed, configured and analyzed and diagnosed using ControlST software. It features a fully isolated design, strong EMC anti-interference ability, and also has a power-off storage function, supporting memory modes such as power-on continuation, operation, and stop.

Application case
Vibration monitoring of gas turbines in power plants: In a large thermal power plant, IS415UCVHH1A is adopted to monitor the vibration of gas turbines. This module collects the vibration signals of different parts of the gas turbine in real time by connecting multiple vibration sensors, processes the signals and transmits them to the control system. By leveraging its built-in algorithm to analyze parameters such as vibration frequency and amplitude, multiple abnormal vibrations caused by bearing wear were detected in advance.
