1.2347, also known as AISI H11 or X38CrMoV5-3, is a hot work tool steel with high toughness, good thermal fatigue resistance, and excellent performance under repeated heating and cooling cycles. It is particularly suitable for aluminum and magnesium die casting molds, hot forging dies, and extrusion tools.
