9Cr18Mo (Chinese equivalent to AISI 440C) is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel known for its high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and moderate corrosion resistance. After proper heat treatment, it can reach up to HRC 58–60, making it ideal for cutting tools, bearings, valves, and high-precision components that require both strength and corrosion resistance.

This grade is widely used in industries such as knife manufacturing, aerospace, medical tools, and mechanical parts.
