Production process

Deoiling and descaling: Remove the oil and rust from the surface of the stainless steel pipe to facilitate better subsequent processing. This is usually done using chemical agents or physical methods.

Activation treatment: Make the surface of the pipe active to enhance the effect and adhesion of subsequent processing.

Water washing and drying: After the deoiling and descaling and activation treatment, the pipe needs to be washed with water to remove the residual chemical agents and impurities on the surface, and then dried.

Electrolytic polishing: Immerse the pipe in a specific electrolyte solution and through the electrolytic action, dissolve the metal ions on the surface of the pipe, thereby achieving the purpose of removing minor defects, reducing surface roughness, and improving surface smoothness, forming a smooth and shiny surface.

Passivation treatment: Form a layer of passivation film on the surface of the pipe to further enhance its anti-corrosion ability, improve the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the pipe.

Neutralization reaction: Perform neutralization treatment on the pipe that has undergone passivation treatment to remove the residual acidic substances on the surface and prevent the pipe from being corroded in the subsequent use.

Final water washing: Wash the pipe again to ensure that the surface of the pipe is clean and free of any residual substances.

Characteristics

Excellent corrosion resistance: Due to the electrolytic polishing and passivation treatment on the surface, a dense oxide film is formed, which can effectively prevent the pipe from being corroded by the external environment. Even in harsh chemical environments or humid conditions, it can be used for a long time without rusting or corrosion.

High precision tolerance: During the production process, advanced processing techniques and equipment are adopted to strictly control the size accuracy of the pipe. The tolerance range is usually within a small range, such as less than 0.02mm, ensuring the accuracy and interchangeability of the pipe size.

Low surface roughness: The electrolytic polishing process makes the inner surface of the pipe extremely smooth, with a Ra value generally less than 0.4μm or better. The surface is as smooth as a mirror, reducing the resistance of fluid flow in the pipe and lowering energy loss. It is also convenient for cleaning and maintenance, and is not prone to bacterial and dirt growth.

Clean and hygienic: During the production process of stainless steel EP pipes, the impurity content is strictly controlled, and the pipes are treated with nitrogen blowing and packaging to ensure that the interior of the pipes is clean and free of impurities, meeting the high cleanliness standards of industries such as food, medicine, and semiconductors.
