Standards

International Standards

ISO 8295: “Plastics - Films and sheets - Determination of the coefficient of friction” specifies the method for determining the coefficient of static friction and coefficient of kinetic friction of plastic films and sheets by using a coefficient of friction tester, including selection of instruments, preparation of specimens and control of test conditions.

ASTM D1894: “Standard Test Method for Coefficient of Friction of Plastic Film and Sheeting” stipulates the test method for coefficient of friction of plastic film and sheet, including the requirement of test apparatus, preparation of specimen, test procedure, etc.

National Standards

GB/T 10006: “Plastic-Film and Sheeting-Method for Determination of Friction Coefficient” is the national standard for the test of coefficient of friction of plastic film and sheet in China, which specifies the test instrument, specimen, and test conditions in detail.

GB/T 2423.17: “Environmental Tests for Electrical and Electronic Products Part 2: Test Methods Test Ka: Salt Spray Test Method” is mainly for the environmental test of electrical and electronic products, but when it comes to the evaluation of friction performance of the product surface, the friction coefficient tester needs to meet the requirements of this standard for the test equipment.

The data acquisition frequency should be adjusted according to the testing needs, generally not less than 1kHz.

Stable loading system

Adjustable loading speed: It is equipped with adjustable loading speed to meet the requirements of different materials and test standards. The range of loading speed is generally 50-500mm/min, which can be adjusted according to specific testing needs.

Good environmental adaptability
