MARK IV SERIES

DS3800NMEC1K1K is a motor excitation control board for the General Electric Mark IV series. The DS3800NMC1K1K and other circuit boards in the Mark IV series are used to operate and control gas turbines and steam turbines. Turbines use internal combustion engines to mix fuel and air to produce controlled explosions. This explosion produces a series of compressed gases, forcing them to be expelled and causing the turbine to rotate. The energy generated by the rotating turbine is subsequently utilized and used for various other purposes.
