Product Description
Hollowing is caused by the presence of air in the original masonry and plastering layer. When detecting, using a hollowing hammer or a hard object to gently tap the plastering layer and the leveling layer, if a "dong dong" sound is produced, it indicates hollowness. The "hollowing" in the housing quality generally refers to the hollowness phenomenon that occurs between the decoration layer (plastering or tile pasting) and the structural layer (concrete or brick wall) of the floor, wall, and ceiling of the house due to weak adhesion and bonding, commonly known as "two layers of skin".
Inspection method
Plastering layer
Observed with the naked eye, the hollowing part is generally slightly higher than the surrounding overall plane and is often accompanied by cracks. Pressing it with a finger can reveal that it is empty inside.
Face brick
Use a small hammer to gently tap one by one, and you can hear an empty sound that is different from other parts. This is the "hollowing".
A common method to repair hollowness is to remove the sand and ash, and then use quick-setting ash to fill it up. After it dries, reapply putty.
However, for some hollowness, due to the location and other reasons, it is difficult to chisel out. For example, it is more difficult to chisel out the hollowness between the concrete protective layer and the base layer. For some more expensive stones and tiles, the hollowness between the tile and the base layer, if chiseled out, the stone will be damaged and the economic loss will be greater. Such hollowness can be solved using the perfusion repair method. The AB resin grouting repair of some engineering crack treatment centers can inject a high-strength adhesive into the hollowness to fill the empty position. The bonding force and compressive strength can meet the use requirements. This grouting method to repair hollowness is fast, does not damage the base layer, and especially in underground garages, factories and other sites, the construction process does not affect the use of the owner, which is a more convenient way.

Class A modified epoxy resin glue can fundamentally repair the hollowness problem.
Grouting resin for hollowness and crack repair
The glue is a two-component, modified epoxy, low-viscosity and liquid structural glue with good permeability.

Application conditions:
1. Applied in crack glue injection repair in concrete bridges, houses, water conservancy, pavement and other projects, as well as reinforcement glue injection repair for large-scale structural penetrating cracks and deep and winding cracks.
2. Reinforcement glue injection repair for defects such as honeycombs and looseness inside the concrete.
3. FRP anti-corrosion and structural surface coating anti-corrosion construction.
4. The long-term working environment temperature is ≤70℃.
5. The construction environment is dry and ventilated, and the bonding surface is clean, dry and free of oil stains.
6. The curing environment temperature is not lower than 5℃.
7. When the ambient temperature is 25℃, the complete curing time is 2 - 3 days.
Hollowing repair construction technology:
※ Due to the instability of ceramic tiles, the low-pressure grouting method is generally used for repair. Excessive pressure will cause the ceramic tiles to fall off. If there are convex and warped parts, fix and flatten them first before grouting to avoid uneven ceramic tiles after grouting.
※ For the concrete base surface, if it is less than 5 cm, low-pressure grouting is used. If it is more than 5 cm, machine grouting can be used. Machine grouting,
with high pressure and fast grouting speed, saves manpower and time. It is a concrete hollowing repair method.
Ceramic tile hollowing repair:
※ Generally, hollowing is accompanied by cracks, and ceramic tiles are no exception. Some invisible cracks with the naked eye may also leak glue. The sealing of the ceramic tile gap in the early stage is very important. The repair of ceramic tile hollowing is different from that of concrete hollowing. Once the glue leaks, it will damage the ceramic tile and is not easy to clean. It is necessary to use the ceramic tile hollowing repair and sealing glue to make a caulking treatment for the ceramic tile hollowing area.
※ When caulking, the base is installed intermittently, and the distance is determined according to the on-site hollowing situation.
※ Configure the glue solution, and strictly follow the ratio for construction. Do not change the filling amount of the curing agent at will to avoid the glue solution not curing and affecting the final performance.
※ Repair from the bottom to the top on the facade, and leave an exhaust hole at the top. Once the glue comes out of the exhaust hole, it is full. At this time, the test shows that there is no hollowing. Reserve the exhaust hole at will on the plane. As long as the glue comes out, it is filled. Check the hollowing situation on the spot (it is not hollow when knocked). Take a core sample for testing after 7 days.
Concrete hollowing repair:
1. Construction steps
(1) Preparation before construction
Confirm the parts that need to be repaired for the ground concrete hollowing.
Drill holes at the position of the ground concrete hollowing repair, clean the surface, and embed the grouting nozzles.
(2) Chemical grouting steps for ground concrete hollowing repair
After the grouting nozzles are arranged, carry out grouting: Determine the grouting pressure and grouting amount according to the specific situation of the parts that need to be repaired for the ground concrete hollowing.
Pour the grouting resin into the container of the grouting machine after it is prepared.
Use a high-pressure grouting machine to inject grouting resin into the position for repairing the hollowing of the ground concrete. Once it is proved that the injection is full, the valve is closed immediately. During grouting, it is necessary to prevent the grouting liquid from overflowing from other holes, causing waste. After confirming the completion of grouting, remove the machinery.
The resin initial setting occurs after 48 hours; it can be used normally after 7 days of dry curing.
