Application

Needle puncture testing is a process that simulates the penetration of a needle like object into a material to measure its resistance and response. Principle

A chosen needle is connected with the loadcell and a specific substrate or sample is placed in a stationary support on the tester base. The needle is moved at a constant speed until it punctures the material sample. The force is recorded as the puncture force.
