ABB ENK32 EAE Ethernet Module

ENK32 is a distributed control system (DCS) based on industrial Ethernet and fieldbus.

On the basis of basic components, it expands the dedicated function station, information network for production management and information processing, and the fieldbus network for realizing the digitization of field instruments and actuators.

The control station directly performs field IO data sampling, information exchange, control operation and logic control, completes the real-time control of the entire industrial process, and realizes various IO interfaces.

The fieldbus system adopts CAN bus, changes the wiring method of the system field signal line, and makes DCS digital in field detection and control execution.

The control station is the core unit in the system that directly performs IO data sampling, information exchange, control operation, and logic control with the field, completes the real-time control function, and realizes various IO interfaces.

The control station exchanges information with the engineer station, operator station, etc. through industrial Ethernet, collects control station signals and transmits them to the engineer station and operator station through industrial Ethernet.

The engineer station and operator station transmit the system configuration information to the control station through industrial Ethernet.

The control board is the core of the control station, responsible for coordinating all software and hardware relationships and various control tasks. And completes various operations for the main control board.

Another control board is selected as a backup board to monitor the operating status and working parameters of the main control board in real time.

When an abnormality occurs, it will immediately switch to the main control board to take over the work of the original main control board.

The two control boards that serve as backup for each other use field bus for information exchange.

To ensure the reliability and stability of the system, two independent CAN interfaces are set on each control board to form a loopback structure.

If the line is broken at one point, the system can still communicate normally.
