Product Description
Hydroxyl ethyl cellulose is a kind of white or off-white powder. It odorless and non-toxic. It drives from natural cellulose like cotton through an etherification reaction. Hydroxyl ethyl group substitutes the original hydroxyl group partly on the cellulose macro molecular. The gel temperature is unlimited. It can be dissolved in hot or room temperature water. When thoroughly dissolved, the solution is clear and the viscosity can reach peak in about 1 hour. The viscosity is from 50,000 to 100,000 Mpa.s for different applications. The ash ratio is less than 5% and the moisture is also less than 5%. It mainly used in painting, coating and oil drilling.
