Product Description
Description: Light yellow powder (particles), slightly odorous, bitter, non-toxic, specific gravity 1.42-1.52, melting point above 171 ℃, easily soluble in dilute solutions of ethyl acetate, acetone, sodium hydroxide, and sodium carbonate, soluble in ethanol, insoluble in benzene, insoluble in water and gasoline. Stable storage. When in the form of dust, the lower explosive limit is 21g/m3.
Usage: Mainly used in IR, NR, SBR, NBR, HR, and EPOM systems, it is currently a major acidic vulcanizing agent with moderate vulcanization speed. When used in combination with other alkaline vulcanizing agents such as DM and TMTD, it can achieve higher activity. Its vulcanization temperature is low, and it is easily dispersed and non polluting in rubber. It is mainly used for manufacturing tires, tape, rubber shoes, and other industrial rubber products, but cannot be used as food materials.
