5052 aluminum alloy plate is a key product of the 5 series aluminum alloy. It belongs to the 5 series magnesium aluminum alloy. The magnesium content is between 2.2% and 2.8%. It belongs to the 5 series low magnesium alloy and is a widely used anti-rust aluminum. , cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, has medium strength, has good corrosion resistance and weldability, and is easy to process and form. The 5052 aluminum alloy plate has good plasticity in the annealed state and high work hardening rate, but has low plasticity in the hard state.

Formability:

1. The alloy has good plasticity in the hot state. The forging and die forging temperature is 420~475℃, and the deformation rate in this temperature range is 80%.

2. Cold stamping performance is related to the alloy state. The cold stamping performance of the annealed O state is good, followed by the H32 and H34 states, and the H36/H38 state is not good.

Welding performance:

1. This alloy has good performance in gas welding, arc welding, resistance welding, spot welding and seam welding. It has a tendency of crystallization cracks during argon arc welding. The brazing performance is good, but the soft soldering performance is poor.

2. The weld seam has high strength and plasticity, and the weld seam strength reaches 90% to 95% of the strength of the base metal. But the air tightness of the weld is not high.
