Wuxi enviClone IEC 61215 Standard Walk in PV Modules Thermal Humidity Freeze Test Chamber

Wuxi EnviClone Test Equipment Company is specialized in environmental chambers, climatic chambers, walk-in test chambers, etc. Its PV Modules Humidity Freeze Chamber is used to test the weather resistance of outdoor photovoltaic modules and test the ability of photovoltaic modules to be subjected to thermal mismatch, fatigue and other stresses under repeated temperature changes. The purpose is to determine the ability of the modules to withstand the impact of high temperature and high humidity followed by sub-zero low temperature, and the ability to withstand moisture penetration at high temperature.

1. Ramp down from 25°C to -40°C at 100°C/h max., soak for a of 10 minutes. 

2. Ramp up to 85°C at 100°C/h or less. Soak a minimum of 10 minutes. 

3. Then return to 25°C, 6 hours maximum cycle time. 

4. Repeat for specified number of cycles per figure 1 “Qualification Test Sequence” of the IEC-61215 test specification (50 and/or 200 cycles). 

5. Current test profile chart is based upon module temperature.
   

1. Ramp from room temperature with 85%RH to 85°C/ 85%RH at 100°C/h max. 

2. Soak for 20 hours minimum. Ramp down to ambient with 85% RH at 100°C/h max.

3. Ramp down to 0°C at 100°C/h max then to -40°C at 200°C/h max.

4. Soak for 30 minute minimum.

5. Ramp from -40°C to 0°C at 200°C/h max and from 0°C to 25°C at 100°C/h max.

6. Humidity must be maintained at 85% ±5% whenever temperature is 25°C or higher.

7. No. of Cycles: 10 cycles. Current test profile chart is based upon module temperature.

Damp Heat Test: 85°C±2°C with 85%RH±5%, test duration 1000 hrs.
