AXIS T8705 Video Decoder is a small, easy-to-install video decoder, enabling digital monitors to connect to and display live video from Axis network cameras. AXIS T8705 gives you a cost-effective solution for video monitoring where live video can be displayed without the use of connection via a PC. It is optimized for decoding H.264 in both Baseline, Main as well as High profile. AXIS T8705 decodes full frame rate video streams in H.264 and Motion JPEG in all resolutions up to HDTV 1080p.

Both sequence and multiview

AXIS T8705 Video Decoder can show an unlimited number of sources in sequence view, and up to 16 video sources (4x4) in multiview. It could be a complement for a video management system to decode and display digital streams in situations where only overview is needed;such as, when you want a monitor to show the camera view at an entrance or the view from a network video door station to see who is behind the door.

Together with AXIS Camera Station AXIS T8705 can show any video view or sequence created just by a click. AXIS T8705 can detect and manage devices in AXIS Camera station.
