Introduction to Disc Brake Model SKD35, 50, 65, 80:

Dellner's SKD series disc brakes are directly actuated by hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, with spring-release functionality, and the braking force is directly proportional to the applied pressure.

The brake consists of two symmetric parts and is suitable for brake discs with a standard thickness of 12mm. If the brake disc's thickness exceeds the standard, brakes with added spacers are available. Each symmetric part of the brake has two circular pins that transfer the tangential braking force from the brake lining to the brake housing and support, ensuring that the brake piston is not affected by any radial forces, thus ensuring a long service life.

When the pressure is released, the two return springs on each symmetric part of the brake release the brake pads from the brake disc. Brake lining wear is automatically compensated by increasing the piston stroke.
