Character: White or almost white amorphous powder or solid. Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. Dry powder is very stable at 2-8 ℃ and has a shelf life of 3 years; The aqueous solution deactivates within 8 hours at room temperature. Decreased vitality when exposed to heat, dilute acids, alkalis, metals, etc. Prothrombin is obtained by separating animal plasma and activating it with clotting enzyme and calcium chloride. It is a proteolytic enzyme that converts soluble fibrinogen in plasma into an insoluble fibrin network structure activated by thrombin, causing blood to clot. Fibrin is originally composed of six peptide chains, while thrombin is composed of four peptide chains that cut a specific peptide bond (Arg Gly) from the N-terminus, releasing two A peptides (19 peptides) and two B peptides (21 peptides). The other two peptide chains with N-terminus tyrosine remain unchanged. After the removal of A and B peptides, the negative charge of protein molecules is reduced, promoting linear and lateral aggregation of fibrin molecules, thus forming a network structure of fibrous eggs
