Bently Bently 125768-01 RIM I/O Module is a RIM I/O module developed by Bently Nevada with RS232/RS422 interfaces. Bently Bently 125768-01 is part of the Bently Nevada 3500 series. The Rack Interface Module serves as the primary interface for the 3500 Rack (RIM). Bently Bently 125768-01 supports private protocols for setting up racks and obtaining machine data.

Bently 125768-01 Function Description:

The first rack slot must contain the RIM (next to the power supply). RIM is compatible with TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX Bently Nevada external communication processors.

Although RIM performs tasks shared by the entire rack, it is not an important component of the monitoring system and has little impact on the normal operation of the entire system. Each rack requires one RIM. For applications using Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR), the 3500 system requires the TMR version of RIM.

In addition to performing all other normal RIM operations, TMR RIM also performs "monitoring channel comparison".

Bently Bently 125768-01 configuration keylock:

Used to switch 3500 racks between "RUN" and "Program" modes. The RUN mode prevents configuration modifications while allowing the rack to operate normally. The Program mode supports local and remote rack configurations as well as standard rack operations.

By removing the key from the rack at any position, the switch can remain in the RUN or Program position. To prevent unauthorized rack reconfiguration, please lock the switch in the RUN position. By locking the switch in the PROGRAM position, the rack can be remotely configured at any time.
