Timing Belt

Automotive timing belt is consumable, if the belt is bitten, then the valve stops in open state, and the engine stops running; If the engine is idling when it breaks, it means there is a gap between the piston at the top of the stroke and the open valve. In both cases the rupture damages only the timing belt itself. However, if the engine is a “interference fit” design, the piston and valve occupy the same space, there is no gap between them, then other parts will soon be damaged, such as valve bending, piston stamping and so on. These glitches will cost customers more and leave them without their cars for long periods of time. Therefore, the importance of regular inspection and timely replacement of the timing belt,so it need regular inspection and maintenance, generally 50 to 100 thousand kilometers need to be replaced.
