The surge arrester unit provides the following functions: surge protection and overvoltage protection.
The lightning arrester adopts a two-stage protection mechanism to realize two-stage lightning protection on the line, which effectively protects the circuit inside the charging module from inductive lightning due to the AC input circuit
Damage caused by overvoltage on the line and damage to improve system reliability.

Surge arresters are classified into class C and Class D surge arresters. The following table lists the parameters of surge arresters.

Interface characteristic
The ports on the SPD contain the following contents:
z Three phase wires A, B, C, three phase wires connected to the AC power supply.
z Neutral line N: Connects to the neutral line or middle line of the AC input power supply.
z Lightning proof grounding cable PE: connects the lightning proof grounding of the system.
z Alarm signal cable (provided only by the C-level SPD). The PFU-12 power distribution monitoring box or monitoring unit PSM-E11 provides SPD action alarm signals.
Instructions for use
Check the surge arrester periodically. Especially in the thunderstorm season, users should check in time. Check the following items for the Class C surge arrester.
1. Check the SPD varistor window regularly. Varistor window green is normal. When the window turns red, the entire varistor sheet should be replaced immediately.
2. The indicators on the D SPD panel show the working status of the SPD. When any one of the three LED indicators is not bright, the power should be cut off for its maintenance, in general
