Air Desiccant Breathers replace existing breather/filler caps or air vents on fluid holding tanks, reservoirs and gearboxes. Older style breathers provide minimal, if any, protection from moisture or particulate ingression. Utilizing color indicating silica gel and a self-cleaning 2-micron filter, Air breathers provide the first line of defense in contamination control and increased equipment reliability.

How They Work:
As contaminated air is drawn through the breather, multiple 2-micron polyester filter elements remove solid particulate and the color-indicating silica gel extracts moisture. When air is expelled from the reservoir, the activated carbon foam pad prevents oil vapor from contacting silica gel.
