Structure and technical data: It is composed of a filter cylinder equipped with a 200-mesh screen, a funnel corresponding to the diameter of the filter cylinder and a glass measuring tube with 0 ~ 100% scale. The scale on the tube: below 15% for each small cell is 0.5%, 15% ~ 30% for each small cell is 1%.

How to use:

1. Fill the mud to the mark marked with "mud" on the test pipe, add water to the mark with "water", block the pipe mouth and shake;

2. Pour the mixture into the filter cylinder, throw the liquid through the filter screen, add water in the measuring tube, shake and then pour into the filter cylinder, repeat until the measuring tube is clean;

3, wash the sand on the screen with clean water, remove the residual mud;

4. Put the funnel into the filter barrel, then slowly turn it over and insert the funnel into the tube. With clean water attached to the screen on the sand all rushed into the pipe;

5. After sand precipitation, read out the percentage of sand;

6. Clean and dry the instrument and put it in the box.
