Brief introduction：

Ferro Silicon Slag is the remaining part after the production of ferrosilicon and other ferroalloy materials, and contains a certain proportion of silicon elements, which can significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of steel, improve the permeability of steel, reduce the hysteresis loss of transformer steel, and have a high deoxidation rate.

Application:

* In the steel industry used as deoxidizer and alloying agents in order to obtain qualified chemical composition and guarantee the quality of steel, in the last stage of the steel must be solid, chemical affinity between silicon and oxygen is very big, therefore is silicon steel strong deoxidizer used in sedimentation and diffusion deoxidation in adding a certain amount of silicon steel, can significantly improve the strength of the steel hardness and elasticity, thus in smelting steel (0.40 1.75%) in bud silicon steel (including the SiO. 30-1.8%) Ferrosilicon is also used as an alloying agent for spring steel (containing SiO.40-2.8%) and silicon steel for transformers (containing Silicon 2.81-4.8%).

* Ferrosilicon slag can be used in the common casting of cast iron in slag smelting, etc. Ferrosilicon slag can improve the furnace temperature, increase the fluidity of molten iron, discharge slag effectively, increase the label, and improve the toughness and cutting ability of casting.

* In the process of stainless steel smelting by electric furnace, silicon slag is used as reducing agent to improve efficiency and output.
