Niobium carbide is mainly used for inhabiting grain growth and improving alloy red hardness of cemented carbide. It can be solid solution with tantalum carbide (titanium, zirconium, hafnium) to form a multi-component solid solution. At the same time, niobium carbide is also widely used in abrasion resistant material and hard surface materials.
