FRP Molded Grating is made of vertical and horizontal continuous fiberglass fully soaked in unsaturated polyester resin giving perfect bi-directional mechanical properties. Combining unmatched corrosion resistance with strength, long life and safety, Molded Gratings provide the ultimate in reliable performance, even in the most demanding corrosive conditions. Besides it is easy to cut and install. LanYu offer the widest selection with panel sizes ,colors and slip resistant surfaces, Clients can avail FRP Gratings suiting your specific requirements.

1. Density

The density of FRP is small (1.4~2.0g/cm), which is 1/6-1/4 of ordinary steel, about 1/3 lighter than aluminum, but its

mechanical strength can reach or exceed the level of ordinary steel, and its strength even exceeds Special alloy steel.

2. Thermal conductivity

FRP has poor thermal conductivity, low thermal conductivity, and low linear expansion coefficient (thermal
conductivity is only 1/1000~1/100 of the amount of gold). So it is an excellent protective and flame-resistant material.

3. Heat resistance

FRP has good heat resistance, The long-term use temperature of high-performance resin-based composite materials
generally does not exceed 250 ℃, while the general FRP is 60~100 ℃.

4. Electrical insulation performance

FRP has good electrical insulation properties, can transmit high-frequency microwaves, does not reflect electromagnetic waves, etc., which is unmatched by metal materials.

5. Corrosion resistance
The common thermosetting glass fiber reinforced plastic has good corrosion resistance, and has good resistance to sea water, atmosphere, and low-concentration acids, alkalis, and salts.
