Aviation warning sphere, or aviation warning ball, or aviation obstruction light, or overhead wire marker, or alerting ball, is

directly installed on the overhead transmission line conductor, especially on high-voltage transmission cables, river transmission lines, to warn passing crowd and vehicles in advance, thus to reduce the occurrence of power grid safety accidents.

Produdct Application

1. At the mount point on the alerting ball, wrap cable protecting bars round cables for 1000-1200mm long, with two ends of protecting bars extending 200-300mm beyond the surface of the ball.

2. Fix the plastic wires which are mounted on lower hemisphere of the ball onto the cables and twist them.

3. Combine the lower hemisphere with the upper hemisphere according to module codes. Turn the hemisphere during the assembly and make sure two hemispheres are joined into position.

4. Insert stainless steel bolt (M12*35) and then put flat washers and spring washers around each bolt. Tighten every nut at last.

Package and Transportation

When pack the warning sphere, separate the upper hemisphere and the lower hemisphere, fold them up and down, and put them into carton boxes, with the wire clip at the corner.

Usually each carton box can hold 6 or 8 hemispherers, that is, each carton box can hold 3 or 4 warning spheres.
