Hub bolts(or wheel stud) are high strength bolts that connect the wheels of vehicles.The connecting position is the hub unit bearing of the wheel!General micro car is 10.9, large and medium-sized vehicles use 12.9 .Most of the T-head hub bolts are above grade 8.8, which are responsible for the large torque connection between the car hub and the axle! Most of the double-headed hub bolts are above grade 4.8, which are responsible for the connection of light torque between the outer hub shell of the automobile and the tire.
40Cr steel is one of the most widely used steels in machinery manufacturing.After quenching and tempering, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity.The hardenability of steel is good, water quenching can be quenched to Ф28 ~ 60mm, oil quenching can be quenched to 15 ~ 40mm.This steel is suitable for cyaniding and high frequency quenching in addition to tempering and tempering treatment.The cutting performance is good, when the hardness is 174 ~ 229HB, the relative cutting machability is 60%.The steel is suitable for making medium plastic molds.
