SM 210/A and SM 230/A are serial interface modules and enable the connection of two RS 232-C or RS 422/485-A serial interfaces. DIP switches are provided on the front for switching the operating mode. At a maximum transmission rate of 9.6 kbits/s, a line length of up to 1,000 m is possible. SM 250/A is an SSI interface module that enables the connection of up to 4 position measuring systems and is equipped with sensor failure detection.
