Backpack wear-resistant ceramic lined elbow for Pneumatic Conveying
Tubes and bends in pneumatic conveying lines are suffering more or less abrasion. SunnySteel’s ceramic lined pipes resists abrasion and avoids product attrition.It reduces considerabley degradation of conveyed material and avoids formation of angel hair through its patented deflection chamber.The compact design reduces cost of pipe support and installation. It is automatically self-purging with little pressure drop.
Ceramic Lined Elbows and Bends could be also applied in the parts of concrete pump owing to their advantages especially the low weight which helps to avoid the jam during the transport of concrete.
The composite pipe is composed of three layers: ceramic, intermediate, and steel layers. The ceramic layer is formed by molten alumina at a temperature above 2500 degree. The molten alumina produced from the reaction
Fe2O3+2Al=2Fe+Al2O3
spreads on the inside wall of the steel pipe under the influence of a centrifugal force, then solidifies, so the ceramic layer has high density and smooth surface and bonds to the steel pipe. They are widely used to convey highly abrasive material such as fly ash and any other fine powder material in mine, thermo power generating, coal processing plant, metallurgy, construction, etc. The service life is 10 to 20 times longer than the normal steel pipe.
It is the ideal product instead of steel or rubber lined pipe and elbow.

Advantages:
Good abrasion resistance
The liner is High quality wear ceramic with 95% Al2O3 which are sintered under 1700 ℃and the hardness are up to 85HRA which is 271.5 times of manganese steel or 1700 times of chrome steel plate. Special composite method and toughening formula ensure the ceramic not being too fragile to resist the impact of normal blocks.
Little loss during running
Low project cost
Light weight and longer lifetime to save the cost of support structure and handling charges. The charges is similar to basalt piping project, or 20-30% less than wear steel piping project.
Good thermal stability
-50 ~600 degree C is the ideal temperature.
Easy and fast to fix on site
Welding, flange, flexible joint are available.
