GRP FRP Rebar Basalt rebar
As a reinforcing material, glass fiber reinforcement is a composite material composed of synthetic resin as matrix material and mixed with appropriate amount of auxiliary agents. Compared with ordinary steel reinforcement, it has many advantages.
Its absolute anti-corrosion performance, thermal insulation, high tensile strength, easy cutting, light weight and other characteristics play an important role in major civil engineering.
Brief introduction to fiberglass rebar
Type: fiberglass rebar and basalt rebars.
Size: Φ6mm～Φ40mm.
Main materials: fiberglass, mesh fiberglass cloth, basalt fiber, vinyl resin, curing agent, etc.
Color: black, green, brown or Customized.
Physical Properties
Density: The density of fiber composite bars is between 1.9-2.1 g/cm³, which is only 1/4 of that of steel bars.

Mechanical properties
1. Brinell hardness: ≥60
2. Life: ≥ 60 years (minimum) tested in an alkaline environment of PH13
3. Creep: When the continuous load is not higher than 60% of the short-term load, the fiber tendons will not undergo creep rupture.
4. Forming and bending: The strength after bending and forming can still reach 40% of the ultimate strength.
