TPDL Volute Screw Sludge Dewatering Machine

Volute Sludge Dewatering Machine( Hereinafter referred as TPDL ) belongs to the screw press, it's clog-free and can reduce the sedimentation tank and sludge thickening tank, saving the cost of sewage plant construction. TPDL using screw and the moving rings to clean itself as clog-free structure, it's a new technology that can replace the traditional filter press like belt press and frame press, the screw speed is very low, so it cost low power and water consumption in contrast to the centrifuge, it is a cutting edge sludge dewatering machine.

Working principle:

The wastewater is pushed into the dewatering machine.The sludge will move to the sludge cake outlet under the pressure of the helical aixs blades. Becuse the gap among the helical blades become narrower,so the sludge bear heavier pressure and began to dewatering under the pressure. The water comes out from the space between fixed and moving plates.

Main Features:

1.Not clog

The unique structure of dynamic and static ring filter makes the equipment not easy to block up, and there is no need to clean frequently to prevent filter seams from clog. It can save washing water and reduce the burden of internal circulation, and solve the problem of blockage caused by traditional dewatering equipment.

2.Fully automatic control

There are no easily blocked pieces such as belt and filtration pore in Screw Press. Combining with the auto control system, the machine runs very safely and simply and can be programmed according to the requirement of the users. It can operate automatically for 24 hours, achieving unattended operation.

3.Save running cost

Integrated design and compact structure save operation cost at large scale. Low speed screw extrusion technology makes electricity consumption significantly lower, equipment is not blocked, flushing water is greatly reduced, and 24 hours automatic operation greatly save the labor cost. Therefore, this equipment is also a new type of energy saving and environmental protection equipment that is in line with the national policy.

4.No secondary pollution

The screw shaft rotational speed is about 23r/min, no vibration and small noise. The rings are featured with self -cleaning function, free of plugging, only a small amount of washing water, without secondary pollution. Under such a slow running speed, the smell of sludge does not spread, thereby creating a great work environment!

5.Lightweight and durable

Due to the direct mechanical dewatering extrusion, without rollers and other large body, the machine is

lightweight. The body is almost entirely made of stainless steel and replacement parts are only screw shaft and

moving rings, so it is durable with long service time.

6.Small plant construction

Aerobic sludge in aeration tank and secondary sedimentation tank can be directly treated on TPDL without going through sludge thickener or storage part. Therefore, it can decrease the total investment, avoid phosphorus release from the sludge thickener and storage tank, and enhance phosphorus removal effect of the wastewater treatment system.
