Steel Bar is divided into three types: hot rolled, forged and cold drawn.Hot-rolled bar steel is 5 to 250 mm, of which 5 to 9 mm is commonly used as a raw material for drawing steel wires,which is called wire;Forged bar steel has a large diameter and is used as a shaft blank;Cold-drawn bar steel has a diameter of 3 to 100mm and has high dimensional accuracy. Steel bar is mostly used as a semi-finished raw material for various deep-processed steels, and has a wide range of uses.

Round Bar Processing Service

We can do machining, truning, drill according to drawings. Turning is a process of machining bars to a desired size. By having material Rough Turned, the removal of the bars surface layer generally eliminates decarburization, seams, slivers and other surface imperfections. The value of material can be increased by removing such surface defects. The finished bar can be machined with relative freedom from warpage.Because the surface layer is removed, turned bars are especially well suited for induction hardening. Rough turned bars may be polished following machining, leaving a smooth shiny surface.

Steel Rod Threaded Rod Process

First:doing heat treatment Q+T for hot rolled round bars to make sure the rods to reach the hardness as required.
Second:doing UT to test the rods after heat treatment.
Third:making turning for the rods by machining.
Forth:making thread on the bright smooth rods.
Fifth:making the nuts match the thread rods.
