Attentions in Installation and Operation:

In orderrto ensure normal and safe use of YQ - 50 series magnetic compass, please read the following before install and use.

1. Check whether there is any damage, discharge, blister and other abnormal phenomenon on the magnetic compass before installation, and it should be replaced if so.

2. Parallel line direction should be marked between the determined installation position of the compass and keel of the hull in order to ensure the correct installation.

For Type A, there are two gaps in its edges whose connection direction parallel with the hull keel.

For Type c, there is a swelled marked line parallel with the hull keel at the top of its cover;

For Type F/ H, type magnetic compass in the bracket at the bottom of the central sunken place attachment should be in the hull keel to parallel

3. Ensure dial and a pointer of the magnetic compass is pointing at the user, the magnetic compass is back to the bow

4. Keep the installation position away from any steel structure or magnetic objects (such as power supply, motor, etc. )

Type A is suitable to be installed in a flat and fixed by screws.

Type C/F/H is suitable to be installedin any plane and screwed the base for turning up and down for reading.

5.This product is with LED lighting equipment and wires that can connected to DC12V power supply. Attention: with the red line or anode and the black for cathode, it provides 1ighting at night for reading and observing.

6. This product is with a copper adjustment tool for fine adjustment of the product' s pointing and balance in installation. The adjustable position is on a copper rod with two rabbets in the lower half part of compass, and it should be adjusted by qualified

personnel

7. The YQ -50 series of Magnetic Compass for Small Craft can be adopted in Any waters on the earth.

8. The warranty period of the YQ-50 series of Magnetic Compass for Small Craft is two years.
