The KOF200 series orifice flowmeter is a scale-free flow measuring device that is used with a pneumatic, electric differential pressure transmitter or double bellows differential pressure transmitter. The pressure difference generated by liquid, gas and steam flow of metallurgy, chemical, petroleum and power industry ℃ through the orifice plate transforms the pressure signal into a proportional output signal, with a secondary instrument or regulator, recording the measured flow rate, indicating or adjusting.

The static pressure of the fluid at the back end of the throttle decreases, causing a static pressure difference before and after the choke (see Figure 1), as a function of the fluid flow, consistent with the Q=K √ ΔP.ρ. Measure the differential pressure before and after the throttles with a differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure gauge) to measure the flow rate.
